SUSHI Nikkei

Nikkei food combines Japanese and Peruvian culinary traditions. Today in the “ @peruvianrestaurantguide ” we present Eduardo ( @yuenfood ), chef of the “Sushi Nikkei” ( @sushinikkei_la ) restaurant in Long Beach. Nikkei cuisine originated in Peru, where a large number of Japanese immigrants settled and also invited chefs like Nobu and Toshiro to work in Lima, the culinary capital in South America. The fusion between newcomers and Peruvians was natural. There are several Nikkei restaurants in LA, but also many traditional Peruvian restaurants have added Nikkei dishes in their menus.
